NASDA presents: Ragtime

Set in New York in the early 20th century, Ragtime is a compelling story that follows three diverse families in pursuit of the American dream.

Set in New York in the early 20th century, Ragtime is a compelling story that follows three diverse families in pursuit of the American dream.

Based on a book by Terrance McNally, with lyrics by Lynn Ahrens, and music by Stephen Flaherty, its themes of wealth and poverty, freedom and prejudice, hope and despair, make this vibrant musical as relevant now as it was when first produced in 1996.

Ragtime features Tony award-winning music and is performed and produced by the very talented students of our National Academy of Singing and Dramatic Art and directed by senior NASDA tutor Soseh Yekanians.
