This scholarship provides up to $5000 towards tuition fees for students of Pacific Island descent studying nursing, midwifery or an allied health qualification. The scholarship is designed to support the development of New Zealand’s Pacific health and disability workforce and consequently to contribute to improving access to health services for Pacific people.
Eligibility
To be eligible to apply for one of these scholarships you must:
- Be a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident at the time of application
- Be enrolled in a health or disability-related course/qualification
- Be able to provide evidence of indigenous Pacific descent
