Professional Development for Enrolled Nurses

These short professional development courses (5-10 credits) are designed for Enrolled Nurses working in today’s complex clinical environments. They support you to grow your clinical capability, meet Nursing Council competence requirements and contribute confidently to safe, team‑based patient care.

Flexible study » Choose from fully online or blended options (online + face to face). Face-to-face content is delivered over three to five days at our Manawa campus near Christchurch Hospital.

Build clinical competence and confidence » Courses support the Nursing Council of New Zealand’s standards of competence and strengthen capability in areas such as assessment, acute care, long term conditions, and mental health.

Learn in a collaborative setting » Courses include both Enrolled and Registered Nurses, enabling shared learning and reflective practice in a supportive, team‑based setting.
