To enable Registered Nurses to further develop their knowledge of health assessment, pathophysiology and health alterations, and to apply this to their nursing practice in intensive care.
Examine nursing assessment and treatment modalities related to patients with a variety of respiratory related pathophysiology.
Analyse anatomy and physiology of the cardio-respiratory and renal systems and relate this to pathophysiology of health alterations.
Critically evaluate appropriate information in relation to the cardio-respiratory and renal systems, in order to inform nursing care and management of therapeutic interventions to enhance patient outcomes.
