Description
The learning outcomes for this course are:
Analyse and apply health models, frameworks and evidence in the provision of nursing care for health consumers and their whānau across the lifespan
Integrate pathophysiological concepts with nursing assessment to inform clinical decision making
Identify pharmacological principles relevant to safe, accurate, and independent medication management across diverse nursing contexts
Describe key considerations for safe medication management, including professional accountability
Integrate concepts of oranga and hauora for culturally safe nursing care
Attain competency in selected Nursing Council standards of competence relevant to enrolled nurse practice during clinical placement
