To enable the learner to demonstrate knowledge of key themes and ideas central to creative practice across a range of historical and cultural contexts.
The learning outcomes for this course are:
Demonstrate knowledge of cultural change in relation to creative practice.
Examine the aesthetic, conceptual and technical characteristics of creative works and relate these to their cultural and historical contexts, including concepts associated with mātauranga Māori.
Examine and utilise information in written, oral and visual forms.
