If you’d like a career helping individuals, families and communities through challenging times, our New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing is the perfect way to start on this path. It's a flexible programme (with classes held at school-friendly times) and available in two specialisations:
Mental Health and Addiction Support
Build the skills to support people on their recovery journey, helping them strengthen resilience and improve their wellbeing.
Whānau, Community and Social Services
Develop practical skills to work alongside individuals, families and communities. You’ll learn about areas such as family violence support and prevention, social justice, community development, disability support, housing and budgeting support.
Each specialisation includes a 200-hour work placement with an organisation suited to your area of interest.
