Human services is a field which offers rewarding careers for individuals who can support the emotional needs of others

If you’d like a career helping individuals, families and communities through challenging times, our New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing is the perfect way to start on this path. It's a flexible programme (with classes held at school-friendly times) and available in two specialisations:

Mental Health and Addiction Support

Build the skills to support people on their recovery journey, helping them strengthen resilience and improve their wellbeing.

Whānau, Community and Social Services

Each specialisation includes a 200-hour work placement with an organisation suited to your area of interest.
