NASDA presents: The Skriker

The Skriker draws on ancient English and Irish folk and fairy tales to look at some inadmissibly dark truths about post-natal psychosis, fertility, motherhood and damaged nature.

In a broken world two young girls meet an extraordinary creature. The Skriker is a shapeshifter. She can be an old woman, a child, a death portent. She is a faerie come from the Underworld to pursue and entrap them, through time and space, through this world and her own.

The cast is made up of our second-year National Academy of Singing and Dramatic Art (NASDA) students.

Note: This show is held outside in D block quad of our Madras Street Campus. Please dress for the weather.
