This scholarship, which provides $3500 to a Bachelor of Nursing student in the third year of studies, is in memory of Bernadette East who was a senior nurse at Bidwill Trust hospital in Timaru for 39 years. Bernadette mentored and encouraged people and gave many people their professional break.
Eligibility
To be eligible for this scholarship you must:
- Be a third-year Bachelor of Nursing student
- Be resident in South Canterbury or have completed high school in the province
