This course provides an environment in which learners will build on basic skills and knowledge of Te Reo and Tikanga Māori acquired in Te Hoe 1
On successful completion of the course the learner will be able to:
- Participate in karakia, hīmene and waiata.
- Recite his/her whakapapa in a mihi.
- Understand basic tikanga Māori and Māori protocol.
- Understand and produce simple sentences about oneself and family.
