Description
Demonstrate advanced knowledge of pathophysiology, pharmacotherapeutics and health assessment in patients with long term and common conditions.
Critically evaluate health assessment findings and utilise current evidence to establish comprehensive clinical management plans, which may include the prescribing of medications, in collaboration with an authorized prescriber.
Demonstrates collaboration with the client/patient, family/ whānau and the interprofessional team to meet the competencies.
Observe the legal, regulatory and ethical and policy frameworks for registered nurse prescribing in Aotearoa New Zealand.
