To enable learners to make informed judgements about complex general X-ray examinations for various pathological conditions and discuss appropriate protocols, techniques and equipment.

Critically evaluate choices of radiation based modalities (computed tomography and angiography) for various pathological conditions and the appropriate protocols, techniques and equipment.
Apply knowledge of the physical principles of computed tomography and angiography.
Critically evaluate best practice in relation to the radiation based modalities; equipment use, protocol, patient care and safety.
