Description
The learning outcomes for this course are:
Appraise commonly found general medical clinical presentations and the management of these conditions in primary healthcare, as related to the following systems across the lifespan: Musculoskeletal including connective tissue disorders, Circulatory, Immune, Respiratory, Mental health
Apply clinical reasoning and knowledge of biases to general medical clinical presentations to body systems, as described in LO 1, with knowledge of the role of an osteopath as part of the primary healthcare team
Evaluate medical imaging, laboratory tests and patient medication use in relation to the development of an appropriate plan of care
