Description

The learning outcomes for this course are:

Investigate cultural change in relation to urban design

Analyse the conceptual, and technical aspects of urban design in Aotearoa New Zealand, within its cultural and historical contexts, including mātauranga Māori concepts

Use fundamental urban design principles to create a simple master-plan

Use fundamental developmental and presentation skills with a variety of media, including drawing and digital media and model-making

Apply fundamental communication skills for the urban design profession
