The learning outcomes for this course are:
Identify the impact of pathophysiological processes on body function, with reference to different stages of the lifespan
Interpret assessment findings related to specific pathological conditions to support clinical reasoning and culturally safe nursing decisions
Discuss safe, ethical, legal and sustainable practice of medication administration in nursing contexts
Explain safe medication administration by applying pharmacological concepts and principles relevant to the use of selected medications in enrolled nursing practice
Describe the core principles of Rongoā Māori and other complementary medicines in nursing practice in Aotearoa New Zealand
