The learning outcomes for this course are:

Reflect and apply knowledge of own cultural identity to build self-awareness for a nursing context

Select and apply culturally appropriate forms of engagement with health consumers, whānau and hapori within a nursing context

Apply a variety of approaches to communication through speech and listening to build relationships with health consumers, whānau and hapori

Reflect on how different worldviews and perspectives influence nursing practice in Aotearoa New Zealand. (range: different world views and perspectives include but are not limited to three)
