The learning outcomes for this course are:

Describe and discuss best practice in delivering maintenance of skin integrity, pressure injury prevention and care to maximise patient outcomes.

Demonstrate knowledge of the pathophysiology and the clinical presentation of common symptoms experienced.

Describe challenging issues in the provision of care related to patients with impairment of skin integrity/pressure injuries.

Reflect on the professional role of the enrolled nurse when working with patients with impairment of skin integrity/pressure injuries and the multidisciplinary team.
