Demonstrate the knowledge and skills of a beginning kaiako in Aotearoa New Zealand, including reflective practice and a commitment to te reo Māori and tikanga Māori
Apply knowledge of regulatory and legislative requirements in early childhood settings to create healthy, safe, and inclusive environments that uphold the rights of tamariki
Demonstrate culturally responsive and sustaining practices that reflect values such as whanaungatanga, aroha, and manaakitanga, fostering inclusive and collaborative relationships within the Early Childhood Education community
Implement strategies for supporting tamariki wellbeing through reflection and respectful, professional relationships
