The learning outcomes for this course are:

Use a variety of te reo Māori genres, relevant to the context of Early Childhood Education, including implementation of resources that reflect a Māori world view

Examine Māori origins, including te reo, tikanga, and Mātauranga Māori, making links between a Māori worldview, relational knowledge and Early Childhood Education

Identify and discuss the origins of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and analyse its impact on Māori and modern society
