Description
- Identify and address health and safety issues
- Investigate and process maintenance requirements
- Select work holding devices
- Identify tooling requirements
- Identify and address setting and programming requirements
- Identify a suitable part for CNC machining
- Identify and describe a suitable machining process plan
- Write a manual part program to produce the part
- Transfer the programme to the machine
- Simulate and test the machining process and analyse the results
- Edit the programme as necessary based on test results
- Load the part appropriately
- Machine the part
- Assess and report on quality of processes and parts
- Report on part quality and procedures and verify process and outcomes
