Professional Practice

This placement-based course aims to provide ākonga with the opportunity to develop and demonstrate respectful, professional relationships with tamariki and kaiako in an early learning environment. Ākonga will describe how their personal values and beliefs influence their teachingpractice in ECE and will develop the ability to use te reo Māori and apply tikanga Māori in ways that are respectful, relevant and appropriate to ECE settings.
