Inner thoughts like this and the feeling of unworthiness it sometimes sparks has been linked to a phenomenon called “imposter syndrome”.
Sefa Faletanoai, Business Development Manager for Ara | Te Pūkenga, has often had this feeling, both professionally and socially. He’s keen to share his experiences and a few tips about how he deals with anxiety around self-perceived “poor” work performance and downplaying years of built-up skill.
