Key information

Events are held throughout the school year and most are free. Depending on the activity, you might meet tutors and current students, use our industry-standard facilities to undertake tasks and challenges, or just have a great time learning about a subject you’re really interested in.

Key information:

• The majority of Experience Ara events are available on request to suit your school. Half day events cost $30 (ex GST) per person and full day events cost $50 (ex GST) per person. Please contact engagement@ara.ac.nz to discuss dates and details.
• A fee of $50 will be charged per day if notice of non-attendance isn’t received within 48 hours of the event. The fee will be waived if a medical certificate is provided (send to engagement@ara.ac.nz). For STAR courses, the non-attendance fee is the complete price of the course.
• A maximum of five students per school can attend an event (except for STAR courses). If your school would like more than five students to attend, contact us to arrange a bespoke occurrence.
