Fee reductions for registered members of Netball Mainland over 16 years old.

The scholarship is open to all registered players who are minimum age of 16 years old. Scholarships are available for full time, part time and online/distance Ara offerings.

Eligibility

To be eligible to apply for this scholarship you must meet all of the following conditions:

  • Be a registered member of Netball New Zealand
  • Be a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident
  • Have met the academic entry requirements for your chosen programme (refer to website)
  • If a player, an age-group Netball representative and on a player pathway which may include the following:
    • U19 Centre Team
    • Baby Beko (or equivalent if played in another Zone)
    • Beko League
    • ANZ Premiership League
  • If a coach, be on a PCQ pathways, or about to enter a PCQ pathway AND be coaching a representative netball team
  • If an umpire, be undertaking Zone practical, towards NZC AND have been selected to officiate over an event of national significance
  • You must be studying with Ara or TANZ eCampus.

This scholarship is available for students entering into any year of study at Ara and does not cover course-related costs. If you are eligible for fees-free study, you do not need to apply for a scholarship.
