Gain the academic skills required for higher-level study in the performing arts.

This six-month programme is designed to build your skills for long term academic and career success by ensuring the essential layers of learning are in place. It covers a variety of subjects aimed at preparing you for the New Zealand Certificate in Study and Career Preparation Level 4 and then to the Bachelor of Performing Arts or the Bachelor of Music Arts.

You'll take core courses designed to equip you including music fundamentals, skills for academic study and a selection of courses specifically designed to help you advance in your chosen pathway.

All courses within this programme are available in Christchurch.

Credit recognition

If you have work experience in this area, or a relevant prior qualification, you may be eligible for credit recognition towards this qualification.
