From Monday 25 May and throughout Alert Level 2, the Ara Osteopathic Clinic is open for appointments on Monday afternoons, all day Wednesdays and Friday afternoons.
Osteopathy is a form of manual medicine that works by correcting alignment and restoring mobility in the spine and joints, decreasing muscular tension, reducing nerve irritation and increasing blood flow.
If you’re seeking relief from aches, pains or injuries, our Osteopathic Clinic offers comprehensive, holistic and affordable treatment for a range of issues including:
- sporting injuries
- spinal and joint aches and pains
- ankle, knee and shoulder injuries
- postural problems
- reduced mobility
- sciatic irritation and sciatica
Each treatment is 90 minutes long and performed by a qualified and experienced osteopath, with osteopathy students observing. A doctor’s referral isn’t required.
Appointments cost $50, or $25 if covered by ACC. Discounts are available to Ara students and staff, retirees and community services cardholders.
