Automotive Engineering Trades (Youth Guarantee)
Take the first steps towards a career in the automotive industry or engineering trades.
Youth Guarantee programmes are FREE* and a great way to learn practical skills and gain a qualification. You can apply for these options if you're 16 to 24 years of age and no longer at school, or you're planning on leaving school.
On this course you’ll gain hands-on skills in MIG welding, collision repair, machine and hand tool operation, general engineering tasks, balance and fit road wheels.
*Funding availability dependent.
You’ll receive Ara Credits for this programme. Ara credits are tertiary study credits that can be used to enter further study at tertiary level in New Zealand.
Fees advised on Enrolment
If you're a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident and between 16 to 24 years old, you can apply to study if you have left school or are intending to leave school & you have not achieved the equivalent level NCEA qualification at school
