Research Methods and Design

In this course students explore the theoretical underpinnings of research within the context of their professional practice. They examine the philosophical, methodological and ethical issues that underpin research and explore the various research paradigms that are commonly used in health research. The learning resources provided assist in establishing the foundation on which students can develop an understanding of the research process and to be able to apply it to practice.
