Description

  • Describe and apply the fundamental elements of journalism policy and practice.
  • Take accurate and relevant notes and capture quality audio and visual material for broadcast purposes.
  • Research, recognize, write and produce a variety of news stories for broadcast and the web.
  • Demonstrate basic industry level competence in voice and pronunciation (including Te Reo) and news presentation.
  • Demonstrate the personal and interpersonal knowledge, skills and attitudes required of an ethical media professional in a team environment.
