IELTS testing increases four fold

As demand for International English Language Testing System (IELTS) exams increases in Christchurch, the outstanding work of the IELTS Exam Centre team at Ara was recognised with a Certificate of Appreciation by IDP Australia (the governing body of IELTS) at a conference last weekend.

IELTS testing at Ara increased 412% in the last eight months, keeping the team of Elisabeth Jaeger, Administrator English Language, and Adilah Khan-Edmundson, Invigilator, very busy. This Saturday alone 154 candidates will sit the exam. IELTS is available in two test versions: Academic for people applying for higher education or professional registration, and General Training for immigration.
