Former CPIT New Zealand Broadcasting School student Andrew Saville was the voice and face of Rugby World Cup 2007 and now his RWC 2011 commentaries are putting him in the spotlight.

Saville has been nominated as a finalist in the prestigious Sir Terry McLean National Sports Journalism Awards. Saville, who works for TVNZ, is a finalist in the Sports Broadcast Feature category for his Rugby World Cup commentaries alongside former All Blacks Jeff Wilson and Taine Randell.

Saville will compete against broadcasting icons Craig Stanaway and John Campbell for the category award. If he is successful he will be considered for Sports Journalist of the Year, a title which he has already claimed once in 2006, then named the 'T.P. McLean Award'.
