Medical & Travel Insurance (2020)

Ara requires all international students to have comprehensive travel and medical insurance. This is a legal requirement under the NZ Ministry of Education Code of Practice for the Pastoral Care of International Students. Ara's preferred insurance provider is Allianz StudentPlus, who have specifically tailored their policy to meet the needs of our students.

Estimated costs are NZ$523.50 for a full year of study and you should budget accordingly.  The cost for your insurance cover will be provided on your Statement of Fees included with your Offer of Place letter.
