This course is a continuation of the Manual Metal Arc Welding (ARC) 1. It will help you obtain skills using the ARC welding process and is required before attending the AS/NZS2980 course.

It covers further welding safety, further investigation of how the Gas Metal Arc Welding process works, weld defects, welder qualifications, quality control and the down hand position on heavier gauge material up to 12mm thick.

It involves approximately two hours of theory with practical exercises to gain competency.
