Individual Learning Programme

Two students studying

Work towards improving your English skills in a way that suits you with this guided, individualised learning programme. With the help of a tutor you’ll plan a programme and choose your materials.

Examples of individual study might include: IELTS test preparation, OET test preparation, academic writing skills, better academic reading skills, grammar work, vocabulary development, listening skills (especially in New Zealand) and speaking more clearly. You’ll work by yourself, but the tutor is on hand to answer questions, correct work, help you find materials and check your progress.

This course is only offered at our Christchurch - Madras Street campus.

The class takes place in the Language Self-Access Centre (LSAC), upstairs in the library. It has many up-to-date resources and you can study there whenever it is open.
