Discover the ultimate pathway into your apprenticeship with our programme offering work experience in an industry that is always on the lookout for skilled people.

The Plumbing Pre Trade module has been designed to give you all the fundamental skills needed to begin a career in Plumbing, Gasfitting or Drainlaying. You will learn the process of assembling, installing and repairing pipes; how to use plumbing, gasfitting and drainlaying drawings and fabricate basic components. With relevant work experience you will also apply health and safety requirements to plumbing, gasfitting and drainlaying contexts and experience using appropriate safety equipment.

In order to undertake this programme you must be physically able to work safely in an industry related work environment.

    Note: If you have achieved NCEA Level 3 University Entrance requirements you are not required to provide evidence of English Language Skills.
