During the programme you'll learn about health, safety and security practices; the application of standard operating policies and procedures; and you'll gain specialist knowledge and skills relating to products and services.

Entry requirements

Academic requirements
  • 40 credits NCEA Level 1, including 10 literacy credits and 10 numeracy credits OR New Zealand Certificate in Retail (Level 3)

Additional requirements
  • You must be currently working in a retail environment.
    Internet-ready computer, email software, Microsoft office 2007 or other is desirable but not necessary.

English requirements
  • If English is not your first language you may also be required to provide evidence of your English language skills as listed below. If you have no evidence of your English language skills and are a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident, contact us for an assessment.

    Note : Students who have achieved NCEA Level 3 University Entrance requirements are not required to provide evidence of English Language Skills.
