To introduce students to printing on paper and textiles, and experimentation with the concept of the book as a creative outcome. To utilise a range of skills such as drawing, illustration, graphic design, print, photography and digital media in the production of hand-made books.

Research, select and control appropriate techniques

Apply conceptual and aesthetic awareness to the genre of the book

Analyse, evaluate and document their own working process in relation to relevant historical and contemporary book publication practices
