Mission to Mars brings to life NASA’s strategy for mankind to live on Mars.

You’ll use physics, technology, engineering and CAD to assist in building habitats to live in that can withstand Mars’ extreme environment. During the workshop you’ll meet expert engineers and scientists in the field, and find out about scientific and engineering careers and job opportunities.

You’ll also build an understanding of the Engineering Design Cycle and confidence in using engineering design tools for aerospace, telecommunications and astrobiology. This course will challenge you to come up with innovative design solutions and develop an understanding of the constraints and requirements for engineering and construction in space.

This offering is designed for year 9 and 10 students.

This is an Experience Ara offering.
