Ara Fashion students complete two main collections of garments in their final year of study. The second collection culminates in a runway show at the end of the year, called Pitch. The first collection is presented to the public at a trade showing called Form. There are usually upwards of a dozen students showing, and each collection consists of up to a dozen garments.

At Form you get to see these garments ‘up close’ on racks, accompanied by look-books and other marketing material. All the collections have been photographed in a professional studio setting with models, hair and makeup. From that material the students put together their marketing, and at Form they present their garments to invited industry representatives and the fashion-buying public. The students handle the selling themselves, engaging with the public on a one-to-one basis. Everyone who attends will get a chance to both feel the merchandise, and talk about the designs with their designers. After the launch, Form usually runs as a pop-up shop for about a week.

If you’re interested in the future of fashion, come and check out our Form.
