iDraught award winners announced for 2018

iDraught is an exhibition of work by Ara students of the New Zealand Diploma of Architectural Technology, which showcases their conceptual drawings, technical diagrams and architectural models.

Architectural Technology encompasses technical drawing skills, problem solving, design and maths. Programme Leader, Dana Van Den Broek says, “Graduates of this diploma will be known as architectural technicians or ‘draughtees’ and they will be qualified to draw up consent drawings for new buildings.”

iDraught exhibition is open on weekdays between 9am-4pm from Friday November 23 to Tuesday November 27 in Kahukura building, at Ara City Campus, Christchurch.

  • The Warren and Mahoney 2nd year Overall Design Documentation Award: Li-Hsun Chang
