Ara is the largest vocational training institute in the South Island of New Zealand. Our practical, hands-on learning is provided in a supportive, welcoming environment. When you graduate from Ara you'll be work ready for your chosen industry or profession, with the skills employers need. 

Ara adheres to The Education (Pastoral Care of International Students) Code of Practice 2016 administered by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA). Copies of the Code are available on request from Ara, or from the NZQA website.
